Since our founding, the Cal Black Alumni Association has been a home where community thrives, voices are heard, and dreams are realized. We are committed to cultivating spaces where Black excellence is celebrated, leadership is nurtured, and every member — near or far — feels a true sense of belonging.

Our mission is simple yet profound: to uplift our alumni, support Black students, and create pathways for lifelong impact. Together, we honor the legacy of those who came before us and light the way for those who will follow.

BAC to Cal BAA

Rebranding

As part of our rebranding, from BAC to Cal BAA, as an organization we are recommitting to:

1) Building a tight-knit familial connection between our network of amazing Black Cal Alumni through our initiatives such as: “Building Bridges & Lifting as We Climb.”

2) Promoting our alumni’s achievements and contributions to the University, as well as the larger Black Community.

3)Celebrating the history of Black Alumni at the University and contributions throughout the United States and throughout the World.
